DR. CHRISTINE STONE

​​As of early October 2024, I am honored to inherit Longmont Aerospace Medicine from my AME guru, Dr. Jason Cannell. We all wish the entire Cannell family well as they move on to their next exciting chapter in Montana!

I live in Longmont with my husband, Bert, who is a carpenter. We have lived in Colorado for many years. We enjoy spending time with our extended network of friends and family, who come to visit us from locales spanning the entire state, from Fort Collins to Grand Junction to Pueblo. Our grandnieces are very excited to attend grade school (6th and 8th) here in Longmont.

 

I am a second-generation physician, following in my mothers’ footsteps. I attended medical school at East Tennessee State University and completed my residency training at Emory University in Atlanta. I have experience in a number of different practice settings. I am honorably discharged from the Medical Corps (US Army Reserve), where I had the opportunity to serve at Fort Belvoir, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center. 

 

In 2022, I was designated as an Aviation Medical Examiner by the FAA and am pleased to offer my services to the aviation community at Longmont Aerospace Medicine. I maintain a separate private internal medicine practice in Longmont, Remedy Clinic PC. I am a member of Practicing Physicians of America, the Boulder County Medical Society and the Colorado Medical Society.
